Project Ciro
Academic year 2024-2025, goal: UAS challenge 2025
With a very unprofessional name, project Ciro was the first of AirOne’s family of fixed-wing drones.
With a wingspan of 3.5m, a maximum velocity of 100km/h, and guided by the prof. Sara Bagassi, Ciro arrived 8th out of 40 teams at the UAS Challenge of 2025.
It was an amazing experience, which played a key role in shaping the view of what the team should become.

All members of AirOne are students of the University of Bologna, from Bachelor’s to Master’s degrees. The team aims to introduce its members to a work environment and a familiar space.
