BepiColombo and Euclid Conference Call

20 October 2020 | 19.00

We are glad to announce that our online conference calls are back!
The first one will talk about two ESA missions: BepiColombo and Euclid.

The speaker will be Julio Gallegos, astrophysicist who completed his PhD at the Astrophysics Institute of the Canary Islands. He is currently an associate professor at the European University of Madrid and he is working on both missions at the ESA European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC).

The probe BepiColombo was launched in 2018 and it’s headed to Mercury, where it is expected to arrive in 2025; Euclid is a new ESA spacecraft scheduled to launch in 2022, that will map the geometry of the Universe and will try to understand the mysterious dark matter and dark energy.

The Conference will take place on Tuesday, the 20th of October, at 19:00 CEST via Microsoft Teams.

Members from all the EUROAVIA associations can participate.
